Art Installations
Living in Divine Creative Inspiration
Tyler has many passions and creative focuses. Nature brings him a sweet connection and much to desire, "from kayaking" to camping and hiking. Tyler always seeks to connect with nature for grounding and transformation. In 2012, he started creating moss art installations, art gardens, and illuminated ice displays. The art installations focus primarily on the beauty and intriguing quality of natural elements, drawing in your eye and focusing your heart chakra on the celebration of nature. It is gentle reminder to be one with nature.
Painting with Nature
Painting with nature is such a joyful experience. To be close to the creator, one must be in the elements, the forest, the water, the air-deep in meditation, stillness and wonder.

To sit and witness the unfolding seasons, the play of sunlight. To commune with nature with intention and wonder.

A charred stump with lime green fungus patina. A potted bowl, golden slate waterfall, forest mosses, deer ferns, honeysuckle, rocks and beach driftwood. A delightful sitting area for my friends tiny home. She has deep connection and reverence for nature.
Pond Garden Feature

Forest art is a whole new level of exploration for Tyler. One who wanders deep into the ravine or down a trail can find them. Clean and organized, as if the wind intentionally placed a fallen branch.

Art is the future of Inspiration
A focus on a collection of mosses and dried plants with interesting geometry. Willow buds, teasel, poppy, pearly everlasting, polypore fungus, and lichens. The engagement was high times, and some festival-goers added tiny plastic dinosaurs to the display to further enhance the moment of amazement.

A gift to the community in the Heart of Roberts Creek, Tyler's hometown. A focus on the magic and wonder of moss. A magical place where Fairies, Elves, and a Gnome live.
Christmas Lights Display

These were special gift events during cold snaps for the community of Roberts Creek. The event captures the power of nature. Cold snaps with temperatures minus 5 or more is needed. A collection of art, plants, and lighting was used as the structure for the ice to form from sprinkling water overnight. A loved and celebrated event that may someday return.
Illuminated Ice

A time cherished tradition for the hearth and soul of the tribe. A decades long dream was to own a wood fired sauna. There is no better day than a sauna day. Getting hot and swimming in the ocean or creek is one of my favorite moments.
These are classic barrel style saunas that distribute heat well and create a unique acoustic sound. The second one built has a didgeridoo porthole for a player to come give a sound journey for the sweat within. Built with thick yellow cypress and western red cedar gives the experience a quality aroma, durability, and warmth. These saunas have full sized woodstoves with glass doors for high temperatures and great fire lighting. They both include two long benches for lay downs and ample space for up to 8 people. Embellished with brass hardware, mini stained glass windows and thick custom hinges fit for a castle door.

Creative carpentry is a unique and playful modern aesthetic. A focus on natural and geometric shapes, and rich colors integrated into practical design. Using some forest wood and beach driftwood is also a great way to upcycle materials and incorporate non-linear shapes.
